Safety Frames

Employers are responsible for identifying and assessing workplace hazards and determining the appropriate level of eye protection required. This assessment is usually completed by the organisation’s health and safety representative or another person familiar with the working environment and its associated risks.

Your employer may provide you with a safety eyewear order form specifying the required lens type, lens material and level of protection. A particular frame may be specified, or you may be offered a choice from an approved safety frame range.

If you are self-employed, we can discuss your working environment, daily tasks and potential hazards to help determine your safety eyewear requirements. Where necessary, we may seek additional guidance from an appropriate safety eyewear manufacturer or specialist supplier.

Once your requirements have been confirmed, your safety glasses will be ordered through a recognised safety eyewear manufacturer. This ensures they meet the applicable safety standards and are supplied with the appropriate certification.

Safety glasses are available in prescription and non-prescription options, allowing you to protect your eyes while maintaining clear, comfortable vision at work.
